Job Summary
Epic Analyst I responsible for building and supporting one or more Epic CKD modules for nephrology practices, performing day-to-day maintenance, enhancement builds, and new implementation builds. Works with clinical, administrative, and revenue cycle users to resolve incidents via ServiceNow, assist in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, build testing, and go-live phases. Contributes to implementation support, user training, upgrades, and optimization of workflows, with experience in Epic tools (Nova, Sherlock) and related project-management tools (Asana, Product Board, JIRA, Confluence). Role supports a primarily remote environment with travel up to 25% to customer practices, team meetings, conferences, and training. Demands Bachelor’s degree, 2-4 years of experience, and Epic Build Certification (within first 4 months, EpicCare Ambulatory required); candidate must be able to obtain the certification and participate in ongoing professional development. The role emphasizes collaboration with end users and SMEs, documentation of build steps, and ongoing efforts to improve value-based care, regulatory programs, and interoperability for nephrology practices. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience
- Epic Build Certification(s) within first 4 months (EpicCare Ambulatory required)
- Ability to obtain Epic Build Certification within first 4 months
- Experience with Epic CKD and related modules
- Proficiency with Epic tools such as Nova and Sherlock
- Proficiency with project management/product tools: Asana, JIRA, Confluence, Product Board
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for visits to customer practices, team meetings, conferences, and training
- Strong written and verbal collaboration with end users and SMEs
- Knowledge of workflow analysis, build, testing, and go-live phases
- Support for upgrades, enhancements, and training
- Experience in healthcare IT and EHR implementations
- Knowledge of value-based care, regulatory programs, and interoperability (desired)
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment
