Job Summary
Epic Analyst I builds and supports Epic CKD modules for nephrology practices, performing day-to-day maintenance, enhancement builds, and new implementation builds. Works with clinical, administrative, and revenue-cycle users to solve problems through technology, collaborate with end users and partners, and assist in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, build, testing, and go-live phases. Role involves remote work with occasional onsite travel (up to 25%), documentation and migration of builds, and support for upgrades; requires experience with Epic tools and a foundation in project management or implementation efforts. Provides mentoring and training to other Epic team members and participates in ongoing optimization of Epic CKD workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-4 years of experience
- Knowledge and experience with Epic CKD/Nephrology modules
- Experience in project management or coordinating implementation
- Proficiency with Epic tools (Orion, Nova, Sherlock) or related certification(s) such as Cadence, Prelude, Real Time Eligibility, Referrals, EpicCare Ambulatory/Link, Care Everywhere, MyChart, HIM/Identity, Resolute Professional Billing, Claims, Contracts, Electronic Remittance, Charge Router, Data Courier
