Job Summary
EPA Summer Intern performs hands-on environmental duties including water, fish, and micro invertebrate sampling and analysis, mowing, recyclable outreach, and air quality monitoring, with data entry and other environmental tasks; requires communication skills, ability to prepare and present technically correct material, and compliance with post-hire drug screen and background check. Position runs June 1 through mid-August at Kaw City, OK, with at least 18+ years old and a valid driver license.
Required Qualifications
- high school graduate and/or college-level student studying sciences
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- data entry-level computer skills
- valid driver license and be insurable
- ability to communicate well verbally and in written format
- minimum 20 hours per week
- June 1 through Mid-August employment period
- submit to post-hire employment drug screen and background check
