Job Summary
EOR Business Operations Manager at Remote (fully remote, globally distributed). Lead cross-functional EOR operations projects from ideation to execution, defining requirements, milestones, and adoption, while maintaining visibility on initiatives, dependencies, risks, and decisions. Identify and remediate operational gaps across EOR domains, coordinate with owners and partners, and implement AI-enabled improvements to operating mechanisms. Own recurring reporting on efficiency, quality, throughput, and risk signals; translate insights into concrete recommendations and follow-through. Establish scalable SOPs and governance to reduce misrouting and duplication. Partner with Product/Engineering, Legal, Customer Success, Finance, and EOR Leadership to align on cross-domain requirements and enable smooth execution across Payroll, PEO, and EOR surfaces. Flexibility to take on any project within EOR Operations; strong emphasis on ownership, deliberation, and impact. The role emphasizes asynchronous communication, data-driven decision making, and a culture of continuous improvement within a globally distributed team.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business operations, program/project management, operational excellence, or a similar cross-functional role (ideally in EOR Operations or an adjacent operating environment)
- Strong project management skills and ability to take ambiguous, multi-stakeholder work from problem definition through delivery, adoption, and measurement
- Ability to facilitate alignment across teams with differing priorities and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Comfort with operational metrics and reporting tools (e.g., Sigma, Zendesk, Google Sheets) and translating data into insights and recommendations
- Clear written communication and proactive, async collaboration
- Experience in managing or coordinating cross-functional initiatives with ownership and accountability
- Ability to identify systemic operational gaps and drive scalable improvements
- Experience with AI-enabled process improvements is a plus
- Comfort with remote, async work environments and cross-timezone collaboration
