Job Summary
EOs to join the Emergency Response Team across Pilbara mine sites. Responsibilities include responding to onsite emergency incidents, maintaining emergency response equipment, conducting fitness-for-work testing, planning and coordinating drills and training, providing onsite medical support, and delivering leadership and mentoring to ERT members while maintaining operational fitness for the role. The role supports a centralized talent community for Fortescue’s Western Australia operations with FIFO from multiple WA locations.
Required Qualifications
- Cert III Emergency Response and Rescue OR Cert III Public Safety (Fire Fighting)
- HLTPAT010 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing (or equivalent qualification)
- Current HR Driver’s Licence (minimum HR-B)
- Competent in core emergency response disciplines including Rope Rescue, Road Crash Rescue, Firefighting, Confined Space Rescue, Open Circuit BA and Hazmat response
