Job Summary
Oversee welding activities on-site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while leading multi-disciplined work crews. Supervise welding personnel and subcontractors, coordinate daily work activities and resource allocation, and ensure compliance with welding procedures and quality requirements. Drive a strong safety-first culture, monitor productivity and project performance, and liaise with clients, site management, and project teams. Support shutdowns, brownfield maintenance, and capital projects to deliver work safely, on schedule, and to specification.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a Welding Supervisor position
- Extensive experience within mining, oil & gas, power generation, LNG, resources, or heavy industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, procedures, and quality systems
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Commitment to safety excellence and continuous improvement
- Current Driver's Licence
- Relevant trade qualification and supervisory experience
- Recent Police Clearance
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Local to Gladstone
