EOI Supervisor Mechanical

Job Summary

Lead mechanical work crews on site, ensuring scopes are delivered safely, efficiently, and to quality expectations across planned maintenance, shutdowns, and project activities. Supervise mechanical works across shutdowns, maintenance, breakdowns, and project scopes while leading site crews and coordinating subcontractors where required. Plan daily work activities, resources, materials, and priorities; prepare and support job packs, work fronts, and handover documentation. Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance while liaising with clients, project managers, site leadership, and support teams. Drive compliance with HSE, quality, and site requirements to support continuous improvement and a strong safety-first culture. Expressions of interest sought for upcoming shutdowns and maintenance projects in the Gladstone region.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a Mechanical Supervisor or similar site leadership role
  • Minimum 5 years' supervision experience across mechanical or engineering scopes
  • Experience within oil and gas, mining, LNG, power generation, resources, or heavy industrial environments
  • Nationally recognised mechanical trade qualification, such as Mechanical Fitter or equivalent
  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making capability
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews safely and effectively
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards
  • Recent Police Clearance
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Current Driver's Licence

Desired Qualifications

  • Relevant site inductions, high-risk tickets, confined space, working at heights, and first aid tickets highly regarded
