Job Summary
Manage delivery of vacant land maintenance services across a government portfolio, ensuring contractual KPIs and service standards are met. Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers for quality delivery while overseeing inspections, maintenance scheduling, and annual program development. Lead contract financial performance through budgeting, invoicing, and forecasting, and prepare reports for client meetings. Monitor compliance with environmental management plans and legislation, and actively participate in HSEQ initiatives to promote safety and sustainability. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the portfolio. This role supports BGIS's expansion of its Property and Land Management team, delivering innovative solutions for diverse government-owned assets in Melbourne CBD.
Required Qualifications
- Experience delivering integrated Property Management, Facilities Management, Project Management or Land Management services
- Demonstrated experience managing maintenance programs, contractors and service providers across diverse portfolios
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and contract administration
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to build trusted working relationships
- Knowledge of quality assurance, workplace health and safety and environmental management systems
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Qualifications in Facilities Management or equivalent industry experience
- Full working rights in Australia
- A Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working within collaborative or alliance contracting environments
- Knowledge of legislative maintenance requirements and cost optimisation strategies
- Experience in environmental management, sustainability, energy management or OH&S
- Tertiary qualifications in Property, Environmental Management, Engineering, the Built Environment or a related discipline, or a relevant trade qualification
