Job Summary
Support planning, design, and delivery of engineering projects across Water, Defence, Energy, Transport, and Infrastructure markets by developing designs, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation. Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions, participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and constructability assessments, and provide technical expertise from concept development through detailed design and delivery. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, client requirements, and safety obligations while building relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Contribute to the growth and development of KBR's Newcastle operations and regional capability. This role involves working on large-scale, meaningful projects within a collaborative environment with flexible, hybrid arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Structural Engineering or relevant Project/Design Management qualifications
- Experience delivering engineering projects within Infrastructure, Water, Defence, Transport, Energy sectors
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Australian Citizenship
- Chartered status or progress towards professional accreditation
Desired Qualifications
- Chartered status or progress towards professional accreditation is highly regarded
- Australian Citizenship is preferred and will be required for Defence-related work
