Job Summary
Perform rigging, lifting, dogging, and equipment movement activities while inspecting and preparing lifting gear in line with site requirements. Support local shutdowns, planned maintenance, breakdowns, and project scopes by reading lift plans, work packs, and permits to communicate clearly with crane operators, doggers, and supervisors. Complete work safely using job plans and site safety standards while maintaining strong housekeeping and teamwork across heavy industrial environments. This opportunity is suited to safety-focused riggers with a High Risk Work Licence in Intermediate Rigging and experience in LNG, oil and gas, or mining sectors.
Required Qualifications
- High Risk Work Licence – Intermediate Rigging
- Current Driver's Licence
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Recent Police Clearance
- Commitment to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards
Desired Qualifications
- Dogging ticket or demonstrated dogging experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience as an Intermediate Rigger within shutdowns, maintenance, turnarounds, breakdowns, or project work
- Experience working within LNG, oil and gas, mining, resources, power generation, alumina, refinery, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong understanding of rigging methods, lifting equipment, lift plans, and safe work practices
- Ability to work safely and effectively in fast-paced site environments
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Relevant site inductions, Construction White Card, working at heights, confined space, EWP, gas testing, and first aid tickets highly regarded
