Job Summary
Conduct cost control, create bills of quantities (BOQ), and manage cost planning and reporting for residential and commercial construction projects. Interpret Australian construction drawings, apply industry standards, and deliver accurate estimations across framing, tiling, plumbing, and electrical trades. Collaborate with the team to produce detailed breakdowns and mark-ups while maintaining high precision in all calculations. This full-time office-based role is located in Viman Nagar, Pune, and accepts candidates with electrical, mechanical, civil, or quantity surveying degrees. While site experience is favorable, proficiency in estimating software is essential, with training provided for those needing it. Preference is given to professionals with experience in UK, USA, and Australia/NZ markets.
Required Qualifications
- Reading and interpreting Australian Construction drawings
- knowledge of standards
- Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting skills
- Proficiency in creating Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Experience in cost planning and analysis
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Skills in using estimating software
