Job Summary
Define and execute a comprehensive integration strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, establishing enterprise-wide standards and governance policies. Oversee all integration platforms (MuleSoft, SAP PI/PO, Oracle SOA) to ensure high availability, performance, security, and scalability. Lead integration architecture and design efforts while managing a high-performing team of internal and outsourced specialists. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs and drive solutions from conception through implementation. Monitor processes to introduce industry best practices such as API-led connectivity and CI/CD for improved reliability. This role supports collaboration and business needs with four days per week on-site in the Brea office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience in IT integration, middleware, or enterprise architecture roles
- 5+ years in leadership positions managing integration teams or large-scale integration programs
- Hands-on expertise with modern integration platforms and tools
- Knowledge of legacy or comparable systems such as SAP PI/PO, Oracle SOA, etc.
- Proven ability to develop and govern integration architecture and frameworks (REST/SOAP APIs, ETL processes, message queues, event streaming/EDI) at an enterprise level
- Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams, including managing outsourced/offshore resources
- Excellent mentoring and people development skills
- Strong project and portfolio management skills with the ability to prioritize initiatives, manage budgets, and drive timely delivery in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, technical teams, and business users
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach: capable of big-picture thinking and setting vision, while also comfortable diving into technical details when necessary
- Experience establishing integration governance (Center of Excellence, standards, guidelines)
- Familiarity with ITSM/SDLC best practices (Agile methodologies, ITIL processes) for managing integration platforms
- Knowledge of data security, compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and risk management as it relates to systems integration and data flows across applications
- Four days per week in the Brea office
