Job Summary
Environments and Release Lead contracted for 18 months, with a flexible hybrid role at the Support Centre in the UK. Responsible for coordinating and controlling IT environments and release activity across cloud and on-premise services, ensuring systems are ready, stable, secure, and available to support testing, deployment, and business change. Leads release planning, environment readiness, governance, and go-live coordination to introduce change in a controlled, repeatable, and low-risk way; collaborates with Product Owners, Service Managers, Project Managers, technical teams, and suppliers to agree on release scope, entry criteria, and deployment approach; reviews implementation plans, builds test evidence and readiness criteria, and identifies and mitigates risks related to environments, deployment, release scheduling, and operational readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in change management, release management, environment management, or service transition
- Experience coordinating releases across cloud and on-premise environments
- Strong understanding of change, release, and service management principles
- Experience working with stakeholders, service teams, technical teams, and third-party suppliers
- Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills
- The ability to identify and manage risk, dependencies, and operational readiness concerns
- Experience supporting CAB, go-live, and deployment planning activities
