Environmental Technician III

Transport regular, bio-hazardous, and recycling waste to designated collection locations while adhering to DOT and Department of Health standards. Empty and clean trash containers, operate pressure washers and leaf blowers, and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas using appropriate chemicals. Deliver clean linen to user areas, weigh and record clean and soiled linen, and manage telephone requests via handheld computer or manual log. Maintain a safe, clean environment around linen rooms and dumpster areas, responding to inquiries and complaints from customers, visitors, and staff. Work independently with regular attendance, utilizing safety systems to protect patients and team members.
