Job Summary
This role involves consolidating, treating, storing, transporting, and/or disposing of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally responsible practices and applicable regulations. It is a physically active position requiring lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift and mobile equipment operation to move containers, and accurate, timely documentation per customer policies. The job includes outdoor work in varying conditions, wearing full PPE, and potential night/weekend/variable schedules. The compensation starts at $23 per hour with comprehensive benefits and an equal opportunity employer statement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- 2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materials
- Ability to operate equipment including a forklift and pallet jack
- Ability to hear vehicle warning chimes and alarms
- Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Willingness to wear company-issued PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator
