Job Summary
Collect and remove soiled linens while stocking, transporting, counting, and delivering clean linens to assigned patient and non-patient areas. Maintain and supply cleaning supplies according to standardized departmental procedures, utilizing mechanical equipment such as carpet extractors, water pressure washers, vacuums, and floor waxers as needed. Perform heavy lifting and push large equipment while standing for long periods. Read labels and converse comfortably in English to assist hospital personnel whenever duty calls.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or relevant experience
- Must be able to converse comfortably in English
- Must be able to read labels
- Must be able to lift heavy objects and push large equipment
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Desired Qualifications
