Environmental & Sustainability Manager

Job Summary
Collaborate with consultants, Engineering, and the EHS Director to prepare, obtain, and renew plant environmental permit applications for air quality, water quality, and solid waste. Perform EHS audits to ensure corrective and preventative actions are completed, lead internal assessments of each Plant's Environmental program, and manage all corporate environmental records and files. Evaluate facility hazards for environmental risks, maintain accessible filing systems, and lead root cause analysis for incidents to prevent recurrence. Lead efforts to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Environmental regulations while staying current with governmental requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science or Environmental discipline from an accredited institution
- Working knowledge of TSCA, Tier II, RCRA, EPCRA and air permitting (non-title V)
- Minimum of 5 years working in an Environmental Compliance role
- Minimum of 3 years working in a Manufacturing environment
- Ability to work in US without Company sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in environmental or chemical Engineering
- Experience working in Chemical manufacturing industry
- Experience in industrial waste disposal processes
- Experience in sustainability tools (footprint etc.)
