Job Summary
Environmental Construction Superintendent leads field operations for environmental remediation, soil remediation, demolition/decontamination, and habitat restoration projects; manages day-to-day field activities, coordinates field crews and subcontractors, enforces safety standards, and ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Hands-on field leader with experience managing complex environmental or heavy civil construction projects and multidisciplinary teams; responsibilities include supervising field personnel and subcontractors, coordinating sequencing and logistics, interpreting plans and specifications, identifying change orders and out-of-scope work, maintaining daily safety and project documentation, monitoring budgets and productivity, procuring materials, conducting site walks, and mentoring field personnel to ensure successful project execution.
