Job Summary
Oversee environmental remediation, site assessments, and regulatory compliance projects across Western PA. Perform groundwater and soil sampling, remediation system installation and oversight, site investigations, geotechnical studies, and operations & maintenance. Ensure compliance with Pennsylvania Code Title 25 and DEP Chapters 245 and 250 for storage tanks and land recycling; assist in proposal development and maintain subcontractor relationships. Requires travel for field work and on-call emergency response rotation. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline, 0-3+ years of relevant experience, OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER, asbestos/lead/mold certifications, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license. Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; strong capabilities in environmental site assessments (Phase I/II ESAs), remediation technologies, hydrogeology, and regulatory compliance; ability to work in the field under all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- 0-3+ years in environmental science within consulting or remediation
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER (required)
- Asbestos/Lead/Mold Certifications
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Physical ability to work in the field under all weather conditions
- Ability to travel for field work and participate in on-call emergency response rotation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Phase I/II ESAs, groundwater/soil sampling, remediation technologies
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania Code Title 25 and DEP Chapters 245 and 250
- Excellent communication for client proposals and subcontractor management
