Job Summary
Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures while providing direct supervision to Environmental Service Technicians. Determine and execute daily cleaning assignments, conduct daily inspections and patient rounds to ensure quality meets or exceeds standards, and perform performance appraisals for assigned staff. Maintain proper cleaning chemical inventory, ensure safety program compliance for all personnel, and provide continuing in-service education. Coordinate daily cleaning assignments and serve as a resource for special requirements within Environmental Services. Requires a high school degree, current motor vehicle operator's license, and ability to lift 20 pounds and climb ladders occasionally.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent
- A current motor vehicle operator's license
- Ability to hear
- Must be able to stand and/or walk frequently
- Must be able to sit occasionally
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds six inches off floor to shoulder to six inches off floor frequently
- Must be able to climb a ladder two-three runs occasionally
- Must be able to bend, stoop and kneel occasionally
- Must be able to reach floor to overhead occasionally
