Job Summary

Track and interpret global environmental regulations, maintaining a centralized database of compliance obligations and associated risks. Lead multi-year, cross-departmental compliance initiatives while assisting in the preparation and submission of documentation to regulatory bodies and third parties. Develop internal and public environmental performance reports aligned with global standards, respond to customer inquiries, and collaborate across departments to ensure consistent messaging. Contribute to the development and execution of ESG goals, monitor regulatory developments, and recommend strategic adjustments to the compliance roadmap. This fixed-term, onsite 12-month contract supports STEMCELL's ISO 14001-certified environmental management system and global market access.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Law, or Accounting with specialization in ESG reporting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental compliance or ESG reporting
  • In-depth knowledge of global environmental regulations and reporting framework
  • Familiarity with global regulations (e.g., CSRD, EUDR, Proposition 65, Bill C-59) and GRI Certification, SASB Standards Training, or equivalent ESG/Environmental reporting frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and interpret regulatory requirements with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
