Job Summary
Develop and review environmental policies, standard operating procedures, and action plans to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 14001 standards. Monitor the company's environmental performance, produce data reports, and assess risks posed by activities to recommend mitigation strategies. Interpret current and future national and international legislation to determine relevance and ensure compliance while minimizing legal and financial liabilities. Implement and maintain the Environmental Management Programme and documentation in both electronic and paper formats. Develop and present environmental training and awareness initiatives to support continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Required Qualifications
- Higher education
- Relevant, demonstrable experience in a similar level role
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, the implementation of environmental management system
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant environmental legislation
- Environmental experience at least 1-2 years
