Job Summary
Deliver high-quality training programs for certified pesticide applicators, licensees, and the public. Prepare, update, and maintain educational materials, training manuals, and certification examinations to ensure content remains current. Develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences while assisting with scheduling and proctoring certification and licensing examinations. Promote compliance with the Federal Worker Protection Standard through outreach and training to the regulated community. Respond to inquiries from the public and provide guidance on certification and licensing requirements and pesticide regulations. Review and process licensing applications and assist with the issuance and renewal of licenses. Enhance online continuing education opportunities tailored to meet the needs of a wide range of pesticide use sectors.
Required Qualifications
- A six (6) year combination of education and/or experience in environmental, biological, physical science, or engineering
- Two (2) years of environmental experience
- Qualifying education must include at least 15 credit hours of science or engineering coursework from an accredited educational institution
