Job Summary
Environmental Specialist II role focused on NPDES and Nebraska Pretreatment program inspections. Duties include conducting surveys/inspections, preparing reports, evaluating potential violations, reviewing draft permits, and responding to complaints. Must utilize GIS/GPS, write technical papers and reports, present findings to agencies and the public, and operate/maintain field equipment. Requires a Bachelor's degree in a listed scientific/engineering field, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 30 pounds, work outdoors in varying conditions, and maintain regular attendance. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in the physical sciences, natural sciences, environmental science, geology, biology, agronomy, civil engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, hydrology, community and regional planning, or a related field.
