Job Summary
Monitor implementation of environmental and social safeguards, conduct compliance inspections, and support stakeholder consultations across multiple transportation infrastructure projects. Track grievance redress mechanisms and labor management, gender, and social inclusion measures while preparing monitoring reports. Ensure adherence to applicable environmental regulations throughout construction phases. Requires a degree in Environmental or Social Science with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including safeguard monitoring on construction projects and working with local communities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Environmental Science, Social Science or related field
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience
- Experience conducting environmental and/or social safeguard monitoring on construction projects
- Experience working with local communities and vulnerable groups
- Strong reporting and stakeholder engagement skills
