Job Summary
Environmental Site Manager to lead nature-based contracting solutions in civil/environmental projects. Responsibilities include overseeing site mobilisation/demobilisation per CDM 2015 and SSOW, inducting and mentoring site crews and subcontractors, owning the site programme, managing daily allocations, procurement and budgets, ensuring works meet ecological quality standards, and building client relationships for future opportunities. Requires thriving in complex, wet or protected environments with knowledge of environmental sciences and practical construction experience; strong CDM compliance, commercial awareness, and leadership to drive safety and quality. Hybrid role based near the HQ in the South West with regular UK travel; accommodation and meals provided when working away; competitive salary, car allowance, generous holiday, healthcare, and life assurance.
Required Qualifications
- Developing or established knowledge of environmental sciences
- Practical construction industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of CDM regulations (2015) and SSOW
- Commercial acumen
