Job Summary
Environmental Site Manager role overseeing mobilisation/demobilisation, supervising site crews and subcontractors, managing the site programme, procurement, and budgets, ensuring ecological quality and CDM-compliant safety practices, and building strong client relationships on nature-based contracting projects across the UK. Hybrid work model between the HQ in Warminster, Wiltshire and site work with regular travel UK-wide; accommodation and meals provided when working away. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, maintaining safe systems of work, and driving project delivery from pre-construction planning to handover. Key skills include environmental sciences knowledge, construction experience, CDM 2015 compliance, commercial awareness, and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Developing or established knowledge of environmental sciences
- Practical construction industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
- Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of link between site progress and business unit performance
- Team leadership, mentoring, and capability to manage subcontractors
- Experience in site mobilisation/demobilisation in line with safety standards (SSOW)
- Ability to manage site programme, procurement, and budgets
- Commitment to ecological quality and biodiversity on projects
- Willingness to travel across the UK and work on-site in varied environments
