Job Summary
Environmental Site and Conveyance Project Engineer independently performs project assignments with instructions from the Project Manager on water and wastewater treatment sites and sanitary sewer and water distribution projects across Colorado, including rural towns, cities, and mountain projects. Prepares Civil sheets for Environmental Department projects; applies civil engineering principles during planning, design, and construction; supports project teams; and participates in client and regulatory review meetings. Responsibilities include design of site and conveyance projects, preparation of technical reports and project specifications, construction administration (observation reports, change orders, RFI logs), and collaboration with Principal/Project Manager/Design Engineer. Requires 4-8 years of experience and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and related civil engineering software; potential to obtain a P.E. license within one year of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of Engineer Principles: site design, grading and drainage, utility design, report preparation, constructability reviews, and engineering estimates
