Environmental Services Worker, Full-time (The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods)

Dust furniture, woodwork, and equipment while mopping floors and polishing fixtures in rooms and bathrooms. Operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, snow blowers, and shampooers to wet-mop halls, shampoo rugs, and clean vents, fan fixtures, and high areas using a ladder. Gather and dispose of trash and waste materials, move heavy furniture, and perform terminal cleaning procedures of patient rooms, including isolation protocols. Clean and disinfect all bathroom fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls. This active role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Schedule includes evenings Monday through Friday.
