Job Summary
Maintains a clean, safe, and functional environment for patients, families, staff and visitors by cleaning all units, including patient rooms and public areas. Performs mopping, dusting, vacuuming, buffing, scrubbing and refinishing floors, moves and arranges furniture, and changes curtains. Ensures adherence to our mission, values, safety and ethics as well as inter-professional collaboration. Travel to other sites may be required; familiarity with confidentiality and a unionized healthcare setting is appreciated.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent work experience
- Commitment to safety, ethical practices and organizational health
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
- Access to reliable vehicle for travel to other sites
- Experience with cleaning equipment (Taski spray buffers, burnishers, auto scrubbers, shampooers)
- French language competency is an asset
