Environmental Services Technician

Conduct routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing walls, doors, furniture, vents, and floors within assigned patient, ancillary, office, and public areas. Select and prepare proper chemical solutions to meet department standards while adhering to Universal Precautions and Glove Policy when collecting, transporting, and disposing of infectious, chemo, pharmaceutical, and pathological waste. Refill soap and paper towel dispensers, deliver clean linens, maintain stocked janitors' carts, replace cubicle curtains every other month, and complete meeting and event room set-ups with furniture and equipment. Perform these duties within an eight-hour shift to ensure a safe, sanitized environment for patients, visitors, and staff at this 377-bed acute care hospital.
