Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician responsible for maintaining cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards across healthcare facilities. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing patient care areas, offices, common spaces, and restrooms; vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting; supporting infection prevention; handling biohazard materials; transporting linens and waste; stocking restrooms and supplies; and responding to urgent cleaning needs. Requires attention to infection prevention, ability to work around biohazards, and a commitment to creating a welcoming, professional environment for patients and visitors. Minimum six months of janitorial/cleaning experience and a valid WA driver license are required; position is temporary/emergency hire and not benefits-eligible.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum six (6) months of janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience
- Valid Washington State Driver License, current vehicle liability insurance, and ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work around contagious illnesses, biohazards, and cleaning chemicals
