Environmental Services Technician

Environmental Services Technician responsible for maintaining the hospital environment at the highest level of cleanliness and infection control. Demonstrates proficiency in basic and advanced cleaning techniques and supply stocking across patient, staff, office, clinic, surgical, and visitor areas. Works in areas such as Surgery, Labor & Delivery, NICU, and Emergency Room; applies safe handling and removal of medical waste (hazardous, regulated, infectious, recyclable, and regular waste); utilizes computer systems with high frequency; part of a multi-disciplinary team at Providence Swedish Ballard. Shift noted as evening; emphasizes safe chemical use, infection control methods, and adherence to quality standards to support patient care and facility operations.
