Job Summary
Clean, sanitize, and disinfect patient rooms, treatment areas, restrooms, and common spaces according to infection prevention standards. Perform terminal cleaning to prepare rooms for new occupants and follow isolation procedures. Maintain floors, furniture, equipment, and fixtures while collecting and disposing of waste and biohazard materials safely. Stock, distribute, and deliver linens and supplies throughout the facility. Operate environmental services equipment and assist with furniture movement, emergency supply distribution, and evacuations. Work independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting the clinical team to ensure every patient feels safe and cared for.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and moving equipment or supplies
- Flexibility to meet departmental scheduling needs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous environmental services, housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or healthcare cleaning experience
