Job Summary
Performs cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms and common areas in accordance with infection control standards; handles waste, soiled linens, and laundry; maintains PPE and adheres to OSHA/CDC standards; collaborates with nursing and clinical staff to ensure room readiness and patient dignity; supports on-site sanitation and safety practices in Heather’s House inpatient unit.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience in healthcare or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, infection prevention, and safety practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
