Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician responsible for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, surgical suites, clinical areas, offices, corridors, and stairs; handling various waste streams including municipal, recyclable, pharmaceutical, biohazard, chemotherapeutic, and sharps; following hospital cleaning procedures, PPE, and isolation precautions; operating cleaning technologies and equipment; ensuring patient/family/customer experience and overall hospital cleanliness; shift is evenings (2:30 pm–11:00 pm) with weekend/holiday rotation; includes CHEST certification and opportunities for benefits and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST)
- Minimum of 1 year related work experience
