Environmental Services Technician - Full Time Days

Environmental Services Technician responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary healthcare environment by following infection control and safety guidelines. Tasks include cleaning patient/resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas; sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors; using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines; assisting in laundry areas as appropriate; stocking storage and equipment; and ensuring health standards are met. Requires ability to lift/move up to 40-50 lbs, be on feet most of the shift, and work varying hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; six months of housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are required; prior custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
