Environmental Services Technician - FT Days

Environmental Services Technician responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas by following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines. Tasks include emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Demonstrates knowledge of housekeeping processes in a healthcare environment to provide a clean and sterile environment for patients/residents and facility staff. Responsibilities may include cleaning patient/resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas to meet health standards. Wear protective equipment as required, keep storage and equipment tidy, and may assist in laundry areas. May use technology applications; physical activities include lifting up to 40-50 lbs and being on feet for most of shift. Hours may vary, including overtime, call, nights, weekends, and holidays.
