Environmental Services Technician (Flex)

Environmental Services Technician (Flex) in Wilkes-Barre, PA with evenings shift. Performs a variety of healthcare EVS duties to maintain the clinical environment, including cleaning and disinfecting patient and non-patient areas, handling municipal and recyclable waste, and following hospital-approved cleaning/disinfection procedures. Applies proper PPE, places wet-floor signage, reports facility repairs, and uses mobile technology to support bed management and daily EVS tasks. Executes detailed cleaning (high dusting, walls, ceilings, tracks, vents, lights) and handles soiled linen as part of the workflow. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with per diem, flexible hours. Works in a clinical environment and adheres to organizational policies and patient/customer care standards. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, infection control, and compassionate service within a diverse healthcare setting.
