Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician (Custodial) for Per Diem shifts (4:00 pm – 11:00 pm) at LifeCircles PACE in Holland and Muskegon. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing offices, conference rooms, common areas, bathrooms, clinic areas, and storage/laundry rooms; maintain floors and furnishings; empty trash; follow infection-control and safety procedures; operate cleaning equipment; handle cleaning chemicals safely; lift up to 50 pounds; work across the facility adapting to daily needs. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; custodial experience; at least 1 year working with frail elderly; CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license; knowledge of cleaning methods and safety protocols. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in housekeeping/custodial work, required
- At least one (1) year of experience working with the frail elderly, required
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
- Strong understanding of basic cleaning methods, housekeeping protocols, and safety protocols including the proper use of cleaning solutions/materials
- Ability to lift, move, and carry equipment or supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
