Environmental Services Technician

Job Summary
Clean and disinfect assigned work areas, including patient rooms, offices, and ancillary spaces, following established procedures. Remove medical waste, trash, and linens while performing interim and restorative maintenance on hard floors, carpets, and upholstery. Assemble, maintain, and store necessary equipment and supplies according to department standards. Communicate with team members to ensure service continuity and report general maintenance or specialized cleaning requirements. Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital. Work evening shifts (3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) at Zeeland Hospital, with variable days and every-other-weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
