Environmental Services Technician

Complete daily occupied and discharge/transfer cleaning and disinfection of patient care areas, equipment, and common spaces while adhering to infection prevention protocols and safety standards. Maintain cleaning carts, manage waste streams including regulated medical and hazardous materials, and operate all EVS tools and equipment. Perform additional tasks such as conference room setups, stairwell and elevator cleaning, and cubicle curtain installation. Mentor new hires and collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to support patient experience and cleanliness metrics within the CHI Health Missouri Valley community hospital in Harrison County, Iowa.
