Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician at Carolinas Medical Center (Advocate Health) responsible for routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, following a 7-step cleaning process, bed-making after discharge cleaning, floor care including stripping and refinishing, cleaning fixtures, replenishing disposable items, and repositioning furnishings. Requires physical stamina (lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, climbing ladders) and ability to handle cleaning chemicals and potential bio-hazardous waste. On-the-job training provided; benefits eligibility with full-time schedule.
