Environmental Services Technician - Bemidji Medical Center - PRN

Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas by following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines. Tasks include emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines; may assist in laundry areas; may require lifting up to 40-50 lbs and standing for long periods; shifts may include holidays, weekends, and variable hours. Demonstrates knowledge of housekeeping processes in a healthcare environment to provide a clean and sterile environment for patients/residents and facility staff. Locations may include patient/resident rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas to meet health standards. Uses protective equipment per guidelines and maintains storage, equipment, and carts; may access technology applications as needed.
