Job Summary
EVS Tech I performs daily cleaning and disinfection of patient and non-patient areas to support a safe healing environment; stocks and maintains supply carts; cleans patient rooms, restrooms, corridors, and other areas per schedule; handles discharge/terminal cleaning and enhanced cleaning for isolation rooms; disposes of trash, linen, and regulated waste; replenishes supplies; uses PPE and follows infection prevention precautions; documents tasks with an electronic system and communicates status; provides courteous service while protecting patient privacy and confidentiality; requires ability to read, write, and speak English and physical ability to stand/walk and lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Previous hospital housekeeping experience, preferred
