Environmental Services Tech I (Full time, 2:30pm - 11pm)

Environmental Services Tech I cleans and disinfects patient and non-patient areas to support a safe healing environment. Responsibilities include following departmental policies for cleaning chemicals and equipment, stocking supplies, cleaning patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and corridors, performing discharge/terminal cleaning and enhanced cleaning for isolation rooms, disposing of waste, replenishing disposable items, cleaning equipment and furniture, responding to service calls (including spills and room turnovers), focusing on high-touch areas to reduce infection risk, using PPE and infection prevention precautions, utilizing the tracking system to document and close tasks, and maintaining patient privacy and courteous, service-oriented communication. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and hospital housekeeping experience (preferred). The role requires standing/walking for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with English literacy for documentation and communication.
