Job Summary
Environmental Services Tech I responsible for daily cleaning and disinfection of patient and non-patient areas to support a safe healing environment; duties include cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, corridors, and equipment, handling waste and supplies, responding to service calls, and maintaining compliance with infection prevention practices. Requires ability to follow PPE usage, isolation cleaning protocols, and communicate courteously with staff, patients, and visitors. Prioritizes high-touch area sanitation and adherence to unit workflows; shift runs 2:30pm-11pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Previous hospital housekeeping experience, preferred
