Job Summary
Environmental Services Tech I is responsible for daily cleaning and disinfection of patient and non-patient areas to support a safe, sanitary healing environment. Responsibilities include stocking and maintaining the EVS supply cart, cleaning patient rooms, offices, restrooms, and corridors, performing discharge/terminal cleaning and enhanced cleaning for isolation rooms, handling waste and disposable items, cleaning equipment and furniture, responding to service calls, focusing on high-touch surfaces to reduce infection risk, using PPE and infection prevention practices, and documenting tasks in the tracking system while delivering positive customer service and maintaining patient privacy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous hospital housekeeping experience preferred
