Job Summary
Environmental Services Tech/Housekeeping responsible for general housekeeping to maintain a sanitary, safe, and attractive facility, meeting Joint Commission/OSHA standards. Key duties include cleaning and disinfecting assigned areas, proper disposal of infectious waste and trash, adherence to infection prevention practices and PPE protocols, and maintaining safe work/storage areas. Requires ability to read and follow cleaning procedures, use cleaning chemicals properly, and communicate effectively; shift is 32 hours per week, nights (Friday–Monday, 8:00 PM–4:30 AM) at Intermountain Health Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah. Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated communication skills to include differentiating color-coded labels and/or chemicals as well as following written and/or verbal directions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed to meet the needs of the department
