Job Summary
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas; remove medical waste, trash, and linens; perform interim and restorative maintenance on hard floors, carpets, and upholstery. Assemble, maintain, and store equipment and supplies according to department standards. Report general maintenance and specialized cleaning requirements, assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital, and collaborate with team members to ensure service continuity. Work a day shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, every other weekend, at Troy Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday
- Must be able to work 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Must comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Public service experience
- Customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial
